The good news is that staying healthy doesn’t require an intense workout routine. For most senior adults, it’s about finding safe, enjoyable ways to move a little more each day.

According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), adults age 65 and older should aim for at least 150 minutes of moderate-intensity physical activity each week, along with muscle-strengthening activities on two or more days and exercises that improve balance.
